Example Analytic Data and Interpretation for April 2018

348 genuine site users. Search engines, bots and visits less than 30 seconds filtered.

202 users were acquired by directly typing or searching for Pani, Pahar by name.

113 users acquired the site through an organic search engine, The website is young and gaining momentum with Search Engine Optimisation deployed but time sensitive – so this number is expected to rise.

26 users found the site from clicking a direct link in social media.

4 users from external direct links. Note that Indian media, due to advertiser revenue priority, do not list contributor websites online.

Frequency and Recency

100% of the site’s users either visited at least 2 pages (pageviews) on each session and/or visited the site on multiple sessions.

This demonstrates a very high level of engagement with the content.

Particularly pleasing are the number of users visiting the site at least 10 times and exploring above 25 different pages.

User Flow

The best user flow was by Indian users.

Over 25% of users navigated and interacted with the site at least 3 times.

A welcome and even spread of interactions across different topics and web sections of the site.

Nearly all in-depth users considered contributing to the resource. Conversion rate here was low.

Global Distribution of Users

Over 212 users of the 358 recorded in April were from India.

This demonstrates a successful deployment of our resource in to Asia.

Over 69 users of the 358 recorded were in the US. Perhaps explained by the Indian diaspora or social media bias of Vira and Smith audience.

41 users in the UK, as expected with the project’s profile, origin and social media.

Regional Distribution of Users

22.74 % in New Delhi most likely from exhibition promotion.

12% from Azerbaijan is an unknown anomaly or single very keen user.

Remaining user base is from Cambridge (due to project origin) and Northern Indian towns.

Age of Users

Over 50% of visitors are under 34.
